What is FoodWash™about?
Water efficiency:
Water is precious! Only 0.5% of all water can be used by humans, e.g. for drinking water. The economical use of water is worthwhile for people and the environment. Since the earth’s population grows every year by the number of inhabitants in Germany, humans are forced by nature to get by with less and less water. At the same time, water as a resource is becoming more expen-sive, and companies are increas-ingly responsible for their use of resources. High water efficiency is therefore a decisive factor for the economic success of companies whose business model depends heavily on water, such as the food industry.
Convenience:
People like it comfortable. This can be seen, among other things, in the continuous growth of the food service sector. Delivery services are booming and are becoming an attractive alternative for providing food and groceries to more people which are consuming more and more fruits and vegetables, mostly loose and unwashed items from the supermarket, only the willingness to wash fruits and vegetables at home is very low. In addition, there are personal time pressure and leisure, health (pesticides) and hygiene consid-erations that accelerate the demand for already washed fruits and vegetables.
Purity and Hygiene:
It all is in the shell (exocarb). Fresh fruits and vegetables, including organic ones, having residues and impurities by default. In addition to pesticides also bacteria, mold and sweat get on the skin of fruits and vegetables during transport, storage and sale, which contains the most valuable nutrients. Washing fruits and vegetables by hand at home is neither effective nor efficient, and it is also unpopular. For the consumer, the solution is to relieve him of the (washing) work at home and at the same time ensure the freshness and safety of the pre-washed fruits and vegetables.

What is Foodwash™?
Foodwash™ is a wash device that cleans fruits and vegetables of pesticide residues, impurities and bacteria, saving more water than ever for the task.
How many fruits and vegetables fit in?
Depending on drawer/box configuration up to 20 kg (44 lb) fruits and vegetables can be washed in one cycle which takes 15 min.
Is Foodwash™ buy or rental?
Foodwash™ device is for rental with subscription only. If there’s a problem with the device the included repair/replacement service takes care.
What is Orgacure?
Orgacure is a powder liquid to clean fruits and vegetables from dirt and bacteria for more resilience against spoilage and food waste.
What makes Orgacure safe to use?
Orgacure is made entirely of food ingredients generally recognized as safe (GRAS). Similar to food supplements tablets dissolved, Orgacure when mixed with water its’s so safe it could be drunk (though we don’t recommend to do). Properly dosed and applied Orgacure allows safe operations during processing. It’s especially formulated to ensure long shelf-life and used without protective gear (Orgacure EX).
Does Orgacure leaves residues?
Properly applied Orgacure virtually leaves no residues on the fruits and vegetables washed. However, trace residues are technically unavoidable which won’t affect the taste of fruits and vegetables and certainly not human health.
From what is Orgacure made of?
Orgacure is made of all food grade and GRAS approved ingredients, in particular organic acids and organic (Orgacure EX) and inorganic salts (Orgacure VL).
Where is Orgacure manufactured?
Orgacure is, depending on customer location, made in Germany (European Union/EFTA customer), the United States or India.
What makes Orgacure 'label free'?
A tiny amount of Orgacure (water) is needed to yield the beneficial effects of Orgacure on the fresh products during processing. And such (Orgacure) as processing aid isn’t considered a ‘declarable’ food ingredient. However, use of Orgacure (water) can be freely declared as such on the food label. There is nothing to hide.
